| This paper describes the conditions and characteristics of peanut production in Fuxin. It describingpeanut industry development status in Fuxin combined with relevant information and data through threeaspects of peanut planting, breeding system and peanut processing industry. It further comprehends thepeanut industry developments in Fuxin by methods like surveying data, checking literature,investigating research. Through analyzing peanut production and industrial status in Fuxin, it shows thatpeanuts in the region of Fuxin has a certain scale of production, it has formed a certain advantages in thecountry including seeding, proportion, output, yield level and the import and export trades. However,the peanut production level of production efficiency in Fuxin is relatively low due to the factors ofdeficiencies of peanut cultivation and management technologies, low levels of mechanical operations,inadequate investment in research and dissemination of information of peanuts.The paper then describes the competitiveness of peanut industry in Fuxin by the SWOT analysisand finds some prominent issues like the peanut processing enterprises in Fuxin are mostly engaged insmall scale, peanut processing technology is relatively backward, the brand awareness is not high, andthere are relatively few leading enterprises of peanut production. These issues reflect thecompetitiveness of peanut industry in Fuxin is not high and is not conducive to the development ofpeanut industry in Fuxin.The paper finally puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions aiming at theseproblems existed in the development process of peanut production in Fuxin. First, perfecting theorganization and strengthening the leadership. Second, increasing investments and strengtheningsupports. Third, relying on science and technology and strengthening the services. Fourth, supportingenterprises and strengthening the upgrade. Fifth, supporting by policy and strengthening guidance. |
