Corporate culture is the core competitiveness during its development. It’svery essential to establish its own, unique corporate culture for the privateenterprise to remain invincible in the fierce competition. The present situation isthat more and more scholars have come to realize that just from the perspectiveof economics and management to study corporate culture, it can not meet theneeds of enterprise development. Psychology is a very important area. Based onthis, psychological contract came into being. It’s an implicit, dynamicallychanging “unwritten contract”, and it has the characteristics of subjectivity,dynamic, mutual and uncertainty. Just because of these characteristics, itprovides a new entry point for the culture development in private enterprise.Based on the analysis of related theory of psychological contract andcorporate culture, then the author analyzed the mutual relationship between thesetwo, especially the relationship in different stages of psychological contract: theformation, the performance, the violation and the reconstruction. In the basis ofthese, by the comparative analysis between state-owned enterprise and privateenterprise, the author found out the main problems in private enterprise cultureconstruction and their own reasons. Finally, the author found out thecorresponding measures for the corporate culture construction in privateenterprise from four perspectives of psychological contract: the formation, theperformance, the violation and the reconstruction.Through the research, we can draw three conclusions: Firstly, the cultureconstruction in private enterprise must be recognized by all the members, andreach to an understanding from the bottom of every employee’s heart in thecompany. So that the behavior of the employees could be changed from “I wasasked to do” to “I should do”. Secondly, the leaders in private enterprise shouldbecome the backbone for culture construction. Thirdly, culture construction inprivate enterprise should be intergrated with corporate management, and to strengthen the culture construction is not to put aside system administration.However, due to my limited knowledge of theory and research ability, thereare some inevitable shortcomings in this paper, and the study to some problemsis not comprehensive enough, such as how to learn from the experience ofstate-owned enterprise in culture construction, how to verify the effectiveness ofthe measures for culture construction in private enterprise based onpsychological contract, and how to absorb the essence of Chinese traditionalculture. All of these problems need to be further studied in the future study andwork.
