Study On Lean Improving Of Internal Logistics System In Automotive Component Manufacturers

With the prospering of China automotive market, local automotive componentmanufacturers have entered the stage of rapidly developing. But, due to short developingtime, comparing with advanced international enterprises, the competitive strength of localenterprises still appear weak. Especially in the field of internal logistics system, due tolacking of the guiding with advanced theories and methods, systems of most enterprises arestill in a very low level,. With low production flexibility, high inventory and low deliveryreliability, internal logistics system has severely influenced the enterprise’s competitivestrength. Based on this, the paper summarizes the characteristics, studies on the suitablelean improving methods and model for internal logistics system of automotive componentmanufacturers.The paper studies on the current status of internal logistics system of the enterprises,summarizes their characteristics and problems, creates the lean improving model, finds outdetailed improving methods. Besides of this, the paper pays big efforts on thedemonstration works,“S” corporation is taken as an example, to study on the details ofimplementation, and the improvements of “S” actual KPIs are also taken as evidences toprove the validity of the model and methods.
