It entered China in2001and is one of the largest corporate investors in fundamental agriculturalresearch. In this paper, based on the theories of strategic management andcompetitive strategy, the issues that Bayer Crop Science Ltd. in China faces in itsdevelopment are studied, and the strategic development plan for the company in thenext five years is established.In this paper, several strategic management analysis methods and models areintroduced. The based on current Bayer Crop Science Ltd. Company’s developmentstrategy, its external environment is analyzed, which is the foundation of strategicplanning. Using the SWOT method, the opportunities and threats to the company inthe external environment is discussed in depth. Also Bayer Crop Science Ltd.Company’s internal environmental analysis is completed which focuses on thestrengths and weaknesses of the company based on its advantages in humanresources management, marketing development.
