Along with the reform and the deepening of reform and opening up andeconomic system, both the amount and growth rate of economy have achieved greatdevelopment, known as the "Chinese miracle". As an important macroeconomicissues, the structure of employment is related to the rational use of resources、thesocial stability and the long-term economic development. Due to reasons such aspopulation, history and geography, the area effect of China’s economic development isobvious. The development of the eastern, central and western regions is very uneven.There exist large differences in employment structure of different regions. Theanalysis of regional economic growth from the perspective of employment structurechanges plays an important role to understand the regional economy. The optimizationand upgrading of industrial structure is an important aspect of economic growth. Inthe1970s Hollis B. Chenery found that the change of industrial structure is earlierthan the change of employment structure. Thus it is concluded that Employmentstructure can reflect the real economic growth more realistic than the output value ofthe three big industries. The new valuable work in this paper is Analyzes the eastern,central and western region’s economic growth from the perspective of dynamicchanges in the employment structure and regardless of other factors that affect theregional economic growth.The article consists of seven parts, the first is introduction, this part mainlyintroduces the selected topic background and significance of this article、the mainresearch methods and valuable work and the deficiencies done by the author. Thesecond part is the literature review at home and abroad. This part mainly introducesthe theory and viewpoint on the relationship between employment structure andeconomic growth of the domestic and foreign scholars. The third part is the eastern,central and western region development of employment structure and economicgrowth. It mainly introduced the development situation of the employment structureand economic growth from1990to2011in the eastern, central and western regions.and combined with the development of different regions presenting that the change ofemployment structure in different areas has a different effect on the economic growth.The fourth part is the influence of the employment structure change on regionaleconomic growth analysis. First of all, analyzing the relationship between theemployment structure and economic growth in theory, secondly combining the thirdpart’s analysis about the change of employment structure and economic growth trend analysis of east central and western regions in China and find that the Employmentstructure changes and the regional economic growth maintains a high level ofconsistency. The fifth part is the influence of employment structure change onregional economic growth empirically. This section make the empirical test of Effectson regional economic growth and employment structure changes and analyzed theemployment structure of the different impact on regional economic growth in Chinain detail. The sixth part: policy recommendations, mainly includes the regionalemployment structure optimization and upgrade on the impact of changes inemployment structure on economic growth policy Suggestions.
