For manufacturing enterprises a good production plan is very important to reasonable andrational use of resources make flexible production in progress and reduce semi and finished goodsinventory, faster delivery of customer orders,reduce manufacturing cost, shorter manufacturingcycle. However, enterprises often unavoidable bottleneck resource or processes exists, according tothe (TOC) theory of constraints, in order to make the entire production operations smoothly and meetdelivery on time and competitive price and high quality requirement. The bottleneck resources arethe first to be considered and resolved. The actual bottlenecks and production plans are foundnormally based on experience carried out in most of the manufacturing companies, and theproduction plan prepared in accordance with infinite capacity of production. There is no bottleneckresource and capabilities of production study based on theory of Constraints five core steps and thinkprocess tools to resolve. So the production plan cannot be successfully executed and cause delayeddelivery of product orders.In this paper, based on the guidance of the Theory of Constraints core steps and thinkingprocess tools, combined with JIT production management approach to analysis the issues of SFproduction plan making based on orders production. This paper did the following studies.1) Firstly, analysis the issues which encountered by SF in production operation with currentproduction plan, such as the order cannot be delivered in time, difficult to control manufacturingcosts, quality problems occur frequently, and so on.2) TOC constraints theory’s five core steps and thinking processes tools, such as CRP currentreality tree, FRP future reality tree, EC evaporating cloud method and so on.3) Also analysis JIT-Just in time production management to identify the advantages anddisadvantages of JIT methods and concepts. Use the appropriate mode of JIT production operationsto the enterprise of make to order. Implemented the different method–push and pull for the front andback process of bottleneck resources or process, and the introduction of Kanban management approach to make information communication well during operations4) Through analysis and combine advantages of the theory of constraints and JIT productionmanagement and manufacturing resource planning MRPII to make the production plan makingprocess to maximize throughput based on solve bottleneck resources or process, improve resourceutilization, as well as timely delivery of orders production.
