GIS-Based Potential Evaluation Research Of Hetian City Land Saving And Intensive Use

Reasonable use of urban land needs to harmonize with the natural conditions，thequality of ecological environment and the development of national economy and givefull play to the land in the urban functions,so as to provide a scientific basis in theconstruction of harmonious society for obtaining the optimal social,economic,ecologicalbenefit.It has been the key to resolving the people-land relationship to achieve effectiveand reasonable use of land and guarantee relative increment of land on the premise thatthe absolute amount of land is settled.This study makes Htian City as an example and is supported by GIS technique,onthe basis of investigating present land-use situation,building the land use database andpreparing the working base map.This study from the land use and land use efficiencydegree angle to establish land intensive use comprehensive evaluation index system,andcombined with ArcGIS software generation evaluation results maps.it then reckons theland intensive use and potential with mathematical statistics method in HtianCity.Finally,the study parses the possibilities and approaches to achieve the potentialand put forward the Hetian City intensive utilization of land managementcountermeasures and suggestions.
