The ongoing irreversible trend of economic globalization and information, coupledwith electronic commerce as a vehicle in the information network age, together shedlight a new way of business–e-commerce platform, which has grown rapidlypropelled by the Internet. This new platform of information technology is no longercomposed dealing with visible and tangible goods, the conventional ways of trade andmethods of trade have changed. In the scope of supply chain, the following problemsare coming to our attention: to eliminate asymmetric information caused by theInternet; to set up effective communication channels between the buyers and thesellers, while maximizing the interests of each party. As a petrochemical industrialcompany, it is important to adapt to changes in the network information age, to learnthe new business model, to achieve maximum efficiency for each resources bothoutside and within the enterprise itself, and to finance with minimum investment butrealizing the highest economic profits. In this paper, these main issues will bediscussed.This article explores e-commerce from both theoretical and research approach, in lightof the current situation of the mainstream development of e-commerce. Multiplefacets will be discussed such as the product itself, the supply chain, sales, logistics,competitors, marketing, management system, software and hardware conditions aswell as the technical team. All of which subjected to Xinjiang Tianyi Co Ltd. ASWOT analysis has been applied on the existing conditions of electronic commerce ofXinjiang Tianyi Co. Ltd, for the purposes to further tactically constructinge-commerce platform and its potential growth possibility. On the basis of theoreticalinformation system planning, strategic goals are set forward for converting enterprisestrategic objectives into methods that can be applied to e-commerce system. An e-commerce platform construction scheme is formed precisely for Xinjiang Tianyi Co.Ltd. Finally, a cost-benefit analysis on e-commerce platform construction has beenprovided to prove the feasibility of this plan.This article adopts an approach from rational utilization of existing informationresources’ perspective, using modern information technology, to incorporate Wechatpublic platform into electronic business platform, which build a comprehensiveelectronic business platform to be used on PC, mobile business platforms andenterprise system. This way, the traditional mode of business conduct has beenamended as an example for its kind as references in the future.
