Research On Development Strategy Of FSH Logistics Company

As an integral part of the national economy, the modern logistics industry is hailed as the "accelerator" promoting the economic development. Its development degree is an important indicator to measure a country’s modernization level and comprehensive strength. Nowadays, the modern logistics industry faces an unprecedented development opportunity. However, the development of Chinese logistics enterprises is seriously restricted by many factors at present.Taking FSH Logistics Company as the specific research object and following the industrial development trend, various strategic analysis methods and tools like PEST analytic method, Michael Porter’s Five Forces Model, EFE Matrix, IFE Matrix and SWOT model are adopted in this paper under the framework of the development strategy to comprehensively analyze the external development environment, internal resources and capacity of FSH Company. It is concluded that FSH Company should carry out SO strategy. According to QSPM matrix, the vertically integrated development strategy is selected to maximally match with the current strategic environment of FSH Company. The key strategic target market and the combination of new businesses are confirmed through quantitative analysis on market attractiveness and business competiveness as well as GE matrix analysis. Then, the strategy is transferred into action. Strategic map and balanced score card are used to manage and implement the development strategy, adjust the organization structure that matches with the development strategy, formulate performance motivation mechanism and ensure that the development strategy target of FSH Company can be realized at the specified period.In this paper, FSH Company is analyzed and researched through comprehensive application of multidiscipline theories like strategic management, logistics supply chain theory, information management theory and human resource management. The research result plays an important guiding role for FSH Company to solve development problems, optimize resource allocation and boost the competiveness and the ability of scientific decision-making, and achieve future development target. The research idea and method in this paper can be used as a reference for other logistics companies to plan development strategies and expand development space.
