But along with the increasing of economy and population, China’s energy is consumed quickly, accompanied by some energy problems loom largely. Because our energy distribution has largely differences in geographical environment, and energy most concentrated in economically underdeveloped areas. However, energy consumption is very large in these areas and its energy efficiency is low, it exist energy waste. Thereby, further calculate the energy efficiency of each province, and analysis of energy efficiency under the national average of some provinces, analysis how to improve the energy efficiency of the provinces, has its practical significance.First, this paper discusses the present situation of the energy in our country, the analysis of our country’s energy reserves and consumption distribution, clarify the research background and significance, and research ideas and research content of this paper, the structure arrangement. Second, review with general theory of energy economy, including energy sustainable development theory, the theory of energy consumption, the theory of energy efficiency, and some related research at home and abroad were briefly reviewed.Study on the problem, this paper selects of China’s30provinces (except Tibet) from1997to2011of the labor force, capital stock, the total energy consumption and GDP, analyze should choose in the method of stochastic frontier production function is Cobb-Douglas production function or Translog production function, selecting from actual data validation function is Cobb-Douglas production function. By using stochastic frontier analysis method to measure province energy efficiency.From measuring the energy efficiency of each province, found that there is a big difference. Thus in order to study the effect of different energy efficiency for economic growth degree, analyze in the system of the energy efficiency of different area of the impact of economic growth, and choose what provinces in the energy efficiency level below average area system, and put these province as the research object, analyzed the influence factors of energy efficiency, so as to improve energy efficiency, make its can achieve in another area of the energy efficiency level, thus improve the contribution to economic growth. Using threshold panel model, this paper choose energy efficiency as threshold variable to detect the threshold value of energy efficiency in China, so as to estimate the three threshold method, get the four areas for (0,0.4024],(0.4024,0.6116],(0.6116,0.7360],(0.7360,1). Estimation results show that when energy efficiency between0.6116to0.736, the factor of energy input, every1%increase would prompt the economic growth of0.3886%; When energy efficiency in0.736above, the factor of energy input, every1%increase would prompt the economic growth of0.4035%. And measured results show that in low energy efficiency area of the region of guizhou, gansu, qinghai, ningxia, it can be seen that energy inefficient area mainly concentrated in the northwest China; Energy efficiency middle-class area of jilin, hainan, shaanxi, shanxi, Inner Mongolia, anhui, yunnan, jiangxi, tianjin, chongqing, guangxi, xinjiang.Further using Tobit model analysis of the influence factors of energy efficiency, select the province is the energy efficiency in below middle level, with provinces energy efficiency as dependent variable, selected from the industrial structure, energy consumption structure, technological progress, economic development level and external dependency, degree of marketization of the six aspects are the influence factors of energy efficiency as the explained variable, analyze the influence of these factors on energy efficiency. From the literature, with the second industry and the tertiary industry of ratios for industrial structure; The coal consumption of ratios for energy consumption structure; With the invention patent authorization number to represent the technology progress; With per capita GDP to represent the level of economic development; With imports of ratios for external dependency; The local fiscal expenditure ratios for marketization. According to the results of regression estimate Tobit model, found that in terms of industrial structure, the second industry accounted for the proportion of GDP is positive impact on energy efficiency, and the third industry accounted for the proportion of GDP is positive impact on energy efficiency; In terms of energy consumption structure, the coal consumption proportion coefficient is negative, that of coal consumption ratio on the energy efficiency is negative; In terms of economic development level, per capita GDP for energy efficiency can have a positive impact, in per capita GDP higher regions, its energy efficiency at a higher level; In the aspect of technological progress, the number of invention patents of the estimated coefficient is positive, that illustrate the impact of technological progress on energy efficiency is positive; In terms of external dependency, imports accounted for more than the estimated coefficient is positive, that import dependence to some extent influence on energy efficiency is positive; In terms of marketization, the proportion of fiscal expenditure is estimated coefficient is negative, that illustrate the impact of fiscal expenditure on the energy efficiency is negative, the higher the degree of marketization is beneficial to improve energy efficiency. |
