Since the reform and opening up,China's comprehensive national strength soared,which have benefited from the rapid development of economy,industry and urbanization.The rapid economic development is accompanied by a large amount of energy consumption.The industrialization and urbanization lead to high investment,high energy consumption,low efficiency,extensive development mode and irrational structure,which make the contradiction between economic development and energy consumption increasingly prominent.All above phenomena greatly reduce the energy efficiency.Nowadays,how to improve energy efficiency effectively has become a hot spot.As an important factor of and energy efficiency,the structural adjustment of Industrial Structure becomes an indispensable mean of improving energy efficiency.In this paper,based on the energy efficiency and industrial structure theory and the theoretical mechanism on energy efficiency under the influence of industrial structure,it selects unit energy consumption as energy efficiency and three different indicators as industrial structure.After studying,summarizing and sorting out the existing literatures,by adding four control variables of economic development,urbanization level,energy price and technological progress,the thesis build up the model of national and provincial data to research and analysis.The conclusions are as followings:(1)Descriptive analysis found that the driving force of economic by the secondary industry is obvious,but it needs to consume a large number of coal-based energy.The driving force of economic by the tertiary industry is lower,but its main consumption is natural gas and other energy-efficiency.(2)The results of time-series dynamic econometric model show that energy efficiency lagging has a great impact on energy efficiency.And the lagging of industrial structure,economic development and urbanization level all has a great impact on energy efficiency.(3)Static panel model results show that the impact of industrial structure on energy efficiency is regional.The secondary industry has negative influence on energy efficiency,the effect of the tertiary industry just the opposite.(4)The results of the dynamic panel model show that the first stage of energy efficiency has a significant positive impact on energy efficiency.And the effect of other factors mentioned in the third conclusion on energy efficiency is similar with the static panel model.(5)The impact of secondary industry and tertiary industry on energy efficiency,according to the result of quantile panel model,is negative and positive.The degree of the impact exists volatility.The influence of other factors on the energy efficiency is subject to variation on each quantile.(6)There is no threshold effect on the model of industrial structure and energy efficiency,which accounts for the proportion of secondary industry or tertiary industry.However,there is a single threshold effect of energy efficiency and non-agricultural industries.Finally,some suggestions will be given to improve the energy efficiency of our country.The innovation of this paper is as the following aspects:(1)Using the static panel model and the dynamic panel model to compare the linear relationship between industrial structure and energy efficiency.(3)Using the quantile panel model and the threshold panel model to analyze the nonlinear relationship between industrial structure and energy efficiency.
