Research On The Impetus Mechanism Of Urbanization

Urbanization, industrialization and agricultural modernization is a inevitable stage in the process of economic development. They are complementary. Industrialization and agricultural modernization is the motive force for urbanization, and urbanization is the result of the development of industrialization and agriculture modernization. In addition, it creates more space for the further development of industry and agriculture. We think that urbanization, industrialization and agricultural modernization is essential to the modern country for prosperous civilization. Accompanied by economic development, urbanization has reached52.57%by2012. In industry, eastern coastal provinces and cities have entered a post-industrial period, which relied on scientific and technological progress to optimize the industrial structure. In the central and western provinces, industrialization has also developed quickly which contributed to the development of economic. At the same time, agriculture has developed very fast, and agricultural modernization level is constantly improving but gaps still exist between industrialization and urbanization. However urbanization and agricultural modernization had achieved in some provinces and cities, but some provinces and cities space is still huge. This innovation points:1. Existing literature analyzes function about industrialization, and agricultural modernization to the urbanization, however it concentrated on relationship between them.The function of the integrated industrialization and agricultural modernization to the urbanization is rare, especially in quantitative analysis research aspects. This paper uses panel data analyzing the relationship among industrialization, agricultural modernization and urbanization, to demonstrate industrialization and agricultural modernization constituting the power of urbanization in some provinces and cities.2. The existing literature focused on overall national research about the relationship among industrialization, agricultural modernization and urbanization, lacking specific study in other provinces. Duing to the different provincial and municipal development with different roads of development, we have to take a specific analysis in other provinces. This paper will be a breakthrough in this regard.3. Existing literature stressed currently the coordinated development among industrialization, agricultural modernization and urbanization.But this based on medium-term of industrialization. Provinces develop different, so we need to analyze concretely.This paper will indicate that agricultural modernization and industrialization contributes to the development of urbanization in stage of medium-term industrialization, but this will not contribute to the development of urbanization in preliminary stage and later stage. This is a new point of view, this is relevant for guiding development of urbanization in present China.
