| Since the reform and opening-up，infrastructure construction is developing rapidly todayin our country, construction industry has played a more and more important role as the pillarof the national economy, however in the context of country investing heavily in fixed assetsand infrastructure construction, construction efficiency research is becoming more and morerealistic. Through the analysis and comparison of construction of the whole country area andGansu province in recent years, the writer understands their development and efficiencystatus, and puts forward some Suggestions according to the analysis of the evaluation,ensuring Rapid and healthy development of Gansu construction.Through the analysis of the efficiency research status at home and abroad, andcombining with the characteristics and practicability of the various research methods, thisarticle choose Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to study on the construction efficiency,And before using DEA theory analyze the construction efficiency, compares these provinceson the main construction data, grasps the state of development of regional constructionindustry in our country and the gap between Gansu province on the various indicators and thewhole nation on macro.In the aspect of using DEA model to evaluate, on the basis of determining the evaluationunits, selecting evaluation indexes and determining the model of the mathematicalprogramming process, firstly, this paper collects the construction statistical data of the variousprovinces and autonomous regions in China from2005to2012, using the DEA method andits mathematical model to calculate and analyze the statistical data, concluding that theefficiency of different provinces in China construction industry, then compares Gansuefficiency situation with other provinces. Studies have shown that Gansu and other westernprovinces in comparison of eastern provinces construction have a big gap on the overallefficiency. Secondly, Gansu province construction efficiency development in recent years areanalyzed by using DEA method longitudinally, overall grasp the development trend of theefficiency of construction industry in Gansu province in recent eight years,and find that thereare no obvious change in Gansu province construction technical efficiency recently years,efficiency condition mainly influenced by the scale of production. At last, to give the relativeefficiency evaluation of each area of Lanzhou city through the collection of construction data,and the evaluation results show that the Xigu, Honggu, Gaolan, Yongdeng in a state of lowefficiency, then the papers take a projection analysis of efficiency condition of these districtsand counties Concluding results on the basis of the above analysis bout the main influencing factors ofdevelopment of construction industry in China and the construction efficiency state of Gansuprovince,1.The main driving force of the development of the construction are total assetinvestment and labor input, technical equipment rate is only the minor growth factors.2.Most of the western provinces and regions, including Gansu, the level, scale andefficiency of their construction development are below the national average level3.The technical efficiency of the construction industry in gansu province is low and hadno significant improvement in recent years，this situation is not conducive to the overallefficiency.Finally through the analysis of this conclusion，this paper gives some suggestions ofimprove overall efficiency of construction industry in Gansu province. |
