From the Ministry of education, the Ministry of Finance and other six ministries jointlyissued "on further speed up the logistics socialization reform of colleges and universitiesopinions" file, reform of catering services in universities and colleges has experienced10years of development, such as the formation of social undertaking mode, Party A and Party Bmanagement mode, legal entity mode operation mode. In the implementation of various newuniversity logistics service mode, there have been some scholars began to model cateringservice in Colleges and universities is studied, but because of China’s economic system, themajority of scholars to study in public universities. Since the majority of civilian run collegesand universities began to set up since the early twenty-first Century, the pace of developmentis relatively backward, so the study on the service quality of private universities are very fewrestaurants. For private colleges, what kind of operation mode of catering service use, canreduce the management burden, the more energy to the teaching and scientific research, butalso can make the food service operation stability, provide a better service to the teachers andstudents to maintain stable and harmonious campus, is the focus of the research in this field,but also management of private colleges catering to solve the problem.In this paper, through the collection, identification, sorting and analyzing a large numberof literature, and combing the catering service in colleges and universities is generalized, therelated research results, to provide specific ideas for research, and lay a solid materialfoundation for writing. For A private universities catering service quality status and existingproblems of qualitative and quantitative research, put forward A private universities cateringservice quality improvement countermeasures and Suggestions. Survey throughquestionnaires, students’ satisfaction to A private universities catering service, find theexisting problems and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.In this paper, transaction costs theory, property rights, economic theory and new publicmanagement theory as the foundation.After the full analysis of A service quality of privatecollege catering operation mechanism, summarizes the overall in the service of college work,meet the students’ dietary needs and emergency management to achieve better results. Then,using field research method were summarized on existed in the operation of the A privatecollege catering service quality problems, combining the reality problems of A private collegecatering service quality, raises the management goal, shaping the catering culture, theintroduction of ISO9001quality management system, catering services, strengthen thetraining of the upgrade, enhance staff quality and build a bridge to communicate with the students, gain the understanding and support of specific measures of students. With theimplementation of A private catering service in Colleges and universities and scientificmanagement, standardization, and also for other private high school food service qualityoptimization provides practical reference.
