Industrial structure reflects the stage of economic development andthe pattern of a country and region。The morphology of Industrialstructure is the result of internal and external factors working together.Infrastructure as an important internal factors, and international trade asan important external factors, have a very significant impact on theformation and transformation of the industrial structure. Infrastructureinvestment, including electricity, transportation, communications and thelike,is the first social capital and the basic economic accumulation beforethe general industrial investment. In an open economy, the optimizationof a country’s industrial structure depends on international factors bylarge, especially the developed economies. international trade is not onlythe driving force of China’s rapid economic growth, but also a strongsupporting factor for the transformation and upgrading of industrialstructure。Firstly the paper make an theoretical research on the evolution of theindustrial structure, the relationship between infrastructural investmentand industrial structure, and the relationship between foreign trade andindustrial structure separately。Then the Papers research the present situation of infrastructureinvestment, international trade and industry structure in Guangdong Province, and compare with Zhejiang province. Infrastructural investmentand international trade is highly concentrated in the Pearl River region, however, the share of other regions is relatively small, industrial structureis higher, and the share of tertiary industry is greater in Pearl Riverregion, than Other regions in Guangdong Province。 In general, infrastructure investment, international trade and industrial structure inthe region there are significantly difference between Pearl River regionand Other regions。Compared with Zhejiang Province, infrastructureinvestment, the scale of GDP and international trade in Guangdong ismuch larger, however, infrastructure investment is relatively deficient。By using data from1993to2012in Guangdong province, and partialadjustment model, this paper study the impact of infrastructureinvestment and foreign trade on the industrial structure。The result is thatinfrastructure investment and foreign trade have significant influence onthe second and tertiary industry, and no significant influence on the firstindustry。Compared with the infrastructure investment,no matter inshort-term and long-term,the effects of foreign trade is more significanton the industrial structure。 The empirical results show that theinfrastructure investment and foreign trade can promote the industrialstructure。Finally, based on the above findings, this paper made specificrecommendations from two different views of infrastructural investment and foreign trade,to promote the optimization and upgrading of industrialstructure in Guangdong Province。... |
