There are more and more microfinance companies established like bamboo shoots after a spring rain in recent years, as along with government granted the policy of microfinance business. It causing too many companies enter this business, therefore the demand for talent increase dramatically, the human resources department and entrepreneurs are facing the dilemma of thirst for talent. How to obtain and retain talent is the major challenge for management to think over. Compensation, as an important way to attract talents to join in company now plays a very important role in the business management which cannot be ignored, also it is the core of work for human resources managers to design an effective compensation system.At present, the microfinance companies target at small and medium enterprises and personal loan business, this case study will focus on those business managers who undertake the personal loan business. One of the jobs for business managers is seeking the customers in the fierce completive market, and establishes long-term cooperative relationship with them, also keep digging potential clients to complete the goal of company’s loan and coordinate with the relevant departments to collect the loans securely. In this type of the financial product sales model, customer can be defined as the key point; a good manager should not only have professional business knowledge, also need extensive customer resources. It could be more worse for the human resource due to the high-stander require for the talent of microfinance business. How to manage those business managers effectively, to make them dedicate comprehensively and be loyal to the company, also willing to contribute their ability and their common progress has become the main mission of company.This case study the author selected compensation which is an important tool for motivate employee as the direction of research, and microfinance business as an example as the author currently working in. Additionally as I am the head of the human resources department in this case practically, author will combine experience business management courses through the management theory and practical work to discuss the current salary system for business manager of microfinance business, in order to develop a set of the most perfect for business managers of microfinance business salary system, hoping it can help enterprises solve the dilemma of manpower shortage of business manager.According to the above, author summarized the business manager salary system of microfinance business after describing the background for this case study, generalized the theoretical definition of compensation of existing management, and expounds the present business manager of the microfinance business’s salary theory defines and describes its structure and function. Then the author introduces TaiRui Investment Management Company as the example, introduces the salary system of business manager, then carried on the preliminary evaluation, and points out the deficiencies of internal and external salary system. Then according to the design defects, the author specially selected some outstanding successful experience of external salary design concept of intrinsic compensation of foreign enterprises. Finally, on the basis of foreign successful experience, combined with the management theory and the actual situation of the enterprises, indicates the improvement for the salary system in this case study.
