The Study On Performance Evaluation About Urban Management Informatization

With the speeding up of urbanization, the city scale expanding and the strengtheningof the urban functions, urban management lagging behind the city construction and pubicdemand is becoming an increasingly prominent problem. With the arrival ofinformationization and the digital age, the urban management informationization hasgradually become a kind of innovative practice in the field of urban management. Theurban informatization management thoroughly changed the traditional urban managementideas and methods, it is of great significance to streamline city management process, toimprove the efficiency of management, and to improve the quality of public service. Withthe deepening of the urban management informationization, the public’s expectations ofthat become more and more high, the urban management informationization has become asocial hot spot, and the performance evaluation of urban management informationizationhas become an urgent need to solve the problem. Studies of performance evaluation onurban management informationization mainly manifested in the following three aspects:First of all, the paper expounds the research background of performance evaluationon urban management informationization and puts forward the research purpose andsignificance of the paper. Through analyzing the related research at home and abroad, thestudy defines the concept, builds the theoretical framework of urban managementinformationization service from aspects of characteristics, function and mode, and throughthe introduction of the theory of public performance, it puts forward the connotation,implement ways and functions of performance evaluation on urban managementinformationization.Secondly, the paper constructs the performance evaluation index system andevaluation model of urban management informationization. Through discussion andanalysis, it establishes the basic ideas and principles to construct the urban managementperformance evaluation index system, through the steps, the index system is established,and according to the characteristics of the urban management informatization performance,the paper chooses the analytic hierarchy process and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluationmethod to establish the performance evaluation model of urban managementinformationization.Finally, the paper make the empirical study of the performance evaluation onmanagement informationization. It selects Xiangtan city of Hunan province as the object of empirical study, through the questionnaire, data collection and processing, it verifies theperformance evaluation system of urban management informationization and therationality of the evaluation model of the analytic hierarchy process. And according to theevaluation results, we put forward some targeted suggestions for information constructionin urban management.
