Study On Resettlement The Fisherman On The Land In Huzhou

The key of Resettlement the fisherman on the land,is to build a house on suitable place to improve fishermen’s livelihood. The resettlement project not only to improve their living conditions, but also effectively solve their practical difficulties. The utimate aims were to gradually changing their life and work style.In this paper, a small case study will be shown based in Xiaomei Village, Huzhou Tai Lake Tourist District. The methodologies include taking surveys and interviews from the villagers. The questions cover many aspects, including the area planning, funding, ongoing management of the project, fishermen’s jobs and security issues. The effective measures have been concluded:the site is suggested to situate in between the urban area and the rural area; the management should combine villagers’autonomy and property management; raising funds through multiple channels; open and fair resettlement grants for the farmers; strengthening the guidance to fishermen for job transfer; establishing the social welfare system for fishermen. All these measures assure a sustainable good life for the fishermen.
