"People-oriented" management philosophy has become the core of modern enterprisemanagement; this research mainly focuses on the employee job satisfaction, andcombined job satisfaction and positive stress, Analysis of the existing processes andinfluence factors of positive stress, and its positive function of job satisfaction. In the study,the paper selected knowledge workers with specific properties in the State Grid ElectricPower Company, Tianjin, Supplies Company as an example, studied the relationshipbetween job satisfaction and positive stress to broaden related research sample range.The questionnaire is Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire. Through questionselection, the questionnaire used in the thesis concludes two subscales which are jobsatisfaction questionnaire and positive stress questionnaire. The article makes the datastatistics and analysis by using statistical software-SPSSl7.0. Through the two sub-scales offactor analysis, the job satisfaction scale summed up as the work itself, the workchallenging, information communication, role clarity, leaders five dimensions. Positivestress scale summarized the control of the work, the degrees of freedom in the work, themeaning of work, recognition for work, teamwork five dimensions.Research from the present situation and characteristics of job satisfaction of employeesstart to explore the relationship between employees’ job satisfaction and positive stress,combined with gender, age, seniority, job, education and other demographic variablesdifference analysis. Concluded that:(1) statistical results showed thatemployees for information communication and role clarity the two dimensions of satisfactionis low.(2) the difference between job satisfaction and positive stress study found thatgender, education of the employees there are no significant differences, and different age,seniority and staff at the existence of some differences.(3) The overall correlation analysisof each dimension of the two subscales showed that employees’ job satisfaction wassignificantly associated with positive stress.Finally, according to the empirical study conclusions proposed some suggestionfrom different angles to improve employee job satisfaction, and hope to provide somereference for the follow-up researchers and management practitioners.
