Under the overall background of world’s oil and gas resources exploitation scaleexpanding year by year, the inseparable oil engineering and technical services markethas been developing rapidly, domestic private enterprises gradually stepped into theoil service industry, foreign oil giants have also enhanced exploration of the Chineseoil market, which beings the oil service industry great opportunities and challenges. Joil Service Company as a private enterprise, is in rapid growth stage, it’s very urgentfor J Company to find a path and methods to survive and develop in the fierce marketcompetition, to meet the challenges and seize opportunities. This article embarks fromthe core competitiveness theory, combined with J Company’s realities, has madeanalysis of the core competence. Main contents and conclusions of J Company’s corecompetitiveness are as follows:First, according to the operating status of J’s, oil service enterprise’s internal andexternal environmental analysis, explained the significance and necessity of study JCompany’s core competitiveness. From J company’s basic situation, internalmanagement, production management, market distribution and so on,comprehensively analyzed J company’s status; by Compared with the industryaverage, and compared with the full range of domestic listed oil service companies,reflected the competitive environment faced by J company, and the necessity and theurgency to improve enterprise core competitiveness.Secondly, make recognition of J Company’s core resources and core competencesby using expert questionnaire and VRIN recognition methods,; For J companycompetitiveness evaluation, this paper has used the fuzzy analytic hierarchy processand radar map comparison analysis methods. Analysis results show that J Companyhas the core resources and core competence, in the same industry, J company with astrong overall core competitiveness.Finally, for the cultivation problem of J company’s core competitiveness,according to the situation of the competitiveness of the J company and based on the Jcompany’s core resources and core competence, this paper puts forward the measuresto cultivate J company’s core competitiveness at the meanwhile, combining thecultivation of core competitiveness of enterprises and enterprise strategic decision,while in response to the current intense market competition, focus on developingunique, lasting core competitiveness.
