Study On The Economic Spatial Connection Of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Agglomeration And Its Influence On Economic Efficiency

As an open system,the development of a city can not be separated from the interaction with surrounding areas.The formation and maturity of some world-class urban agglomerations in North America,Europe and Japan all showed a truth-the importance of close cooperation among cities in the urban agglomerations.All kinds of "flows" promoted by infrastructure in urban agglomerations lead to a closely coordinated division of labor,and individuals can draw economic power from the new division of labor.“The national new urbanization plan(2014-2020)” calls Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Agglomeration,Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration “the three growth poles of national economy”.But only from the GDP,per capita GDP and the number of cities entering the “GDP trillion club” in 2018,there is a big gap between Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Agglomeration and the others.The “dual core” of Beijing and Tianjin dominates the absolute economy.The unbalanced development of urban agglomerations has been prominent for a long time.However,a reasonable division of labor has been formed within the urban agglomerations of the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta,so that the economic development is also well.It can be seen that if the cities in the urban agglomerations are closely dependent and interrelated,then a single city can be developed through industrial division and element complementation,so that it is conducive to the overall development of cities and urban agglomerations.In recent years,with the standardized guidance of national policies,the relaxation of Beijing's non capital functions,and the continuous improvement of facilities connecting the three areas,the three areas are bound to change significantly.Therefore,starting from the study of the economic spatial connection of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Agglomeration,this paper further investigates the relationship between the urban economic development and the connection among cities.The research contexts of this paper are as follows: the economic connection value of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Agglomeration is calculated by the modified gravity model,and then the economic connection matrix is obtained.Firstly,the temporal and spatial changes and main connection directions of the economic connection among the urban agglomeration are summarized through data analysis;secondly,the economic spatial network map is constructed based on the economic connection matrix,and the social network analysis method is used to analyze the network density and network centrality Thirdly,according to the characteristics of the economic contact network,the paper studies its influence on the urban economic efficiency in the urban agglomeration.Finally,the paper further studies the factors influencing the economic contact network from the aspects of labor force,investment,economic openness,industrial structure,etc.The results show that:(1)The quality of urban development in urban agglomerations is seriously polarized,and the internal development is very unbalanced.(2)In recent years,the overall spatial connection of urban agglomerations has achieved multiple level growth,but the regional differentiation is obvious,and the overall economic connection between cities presents the characteristics of “dense in the South and sparse in the north”;according to the economic connection of individual cities,four levels can be divided,and the distribution pattern of the levels has been “spinning hammer”;the main connection track of urban agglomerations roughly presents the type of “inverted L”;the urban agglomerations can be divided into four contact groups,which roughly coincide with the geographical location of the “four areas” proposed in the “Beijing Tianjin Hebei coordinated development plan outline”.(3)The linkages of cities has a significant positive impact on the economic efficiency of cities in the urban agglomeration.Specifically,the centrality of urban economic linkages plays a direct role in promoting the economic efficiency,that is,the city's central position in the economic contact network is conducive to the efficient operation of the input and output of urban internal resource elements;the scale of labor market,industrial structure,investment and economic opening degree and so on will affect the economic connection,and also indirectly affect the economic efficiency of the city.
