| Tianjin, known as China’s third economic growth pole, is the economic center ofthe Bohai Economic Rim and the gateway opening to the world of north China. As thenational comprehensive reform pilot area and the National New District, TianjinBinhai New Area has a pivotal role on the economic development of the country aswell as Tianjin. In the annual output value of Binhai New Area, industrial enterprisesespecially the manufacturing sector plays a decisive role in the economic developmentof the new area. Although these enterprises have achieved good performance, the newregional industrial enterprises continued to decline from2011. Most companies arefacing heavy pressure toreduce inventory and improve quality and going into thethroes of an unprecedented transformation and upgrading. In the meantime, the realeconomy profit margins continue to be squeezed. It can be said that the overallproduction system of industrial enterprises lags and lean management awareness isweak in Binhai New Area. So the challenge enterprises face will become increasinglysevere with the increasingly fierce market competition, as the domestic andinternational economic situation changes. Therefore, it becomes the priority task howto improve the capacity and solve the management dilemma of the enterprisesespecially the manufacturing companies in Binhai New Area.This paper summarizes the theory of lean production and its applications at homeand abroad. Combined with the status of industrial enterprises, it’s carried out to raiselean management innovation in the Binhai New Area based on the demands of theBinhai New Area government and companies. The lean management innovationissues the enterprises face can be classified to five levels as lean technology level,lean layout level, lean workshop level, lean process level and lean system level. Thepaper also puts forward the contents and improving path corresponding to each leveland the model of pathway choosing. Meanwhile, in order to better interpret theproposed issue of lean management innovation and the improving path, the papertakes lean processes problem RN faces as an example to analyze and solve balancingproblems of the pitch control system line. This paper successfully solves the problemsof inconsistent production line beat, inefficiency and process’ chaos by using thetheory and methods of lean production, especially the theory of production line balancing. The example of RN can provide ideas for the government and other leanenterprise management innovation of the Binhai New Area, so that the leanproduction can better serve the industrial enterprises in Binhai New Area.Finally, the paper proposes the next improvement’s direction of RN withsummarizing the contents of the research. Additionally, the author prompted thedifficulties to develop innovative lean management in the industrial enterprises ofBinhai New Area. |
