With the rapid development of economy, customer’s needs has becomeincreasingly diverse, agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprises of our countryare faced with many challenges in the fierce competition, forcing companiestransformed from the traditional mode of production to lean production mode. However,assembly line balancing technology is not deeply into the lean production management,the low production efficiency and waste caused by the unbalanced assembly line arevery serious. Under the guidance of lean production ideas, how to continuouslyoptimize the assembly line, eliminating bottlenecks, block, not equal to wastephenomenon in the assembly line, to the best balance, is the focus of this articleresearch.In this paper, the related theory, methods, research status at home and abroad oflean production and assembly line balancing, are analyzed and summarized, and furtherstudy of the lean production assembly line balancing. In Wuzheng group farm vehiclecab assembly line17station as the research object, in view of the present there areproduction cannot meet the market demand of practical problems, assembly line areanalyzed to improve by using IE techniques of lean production. Firstly has carried onthe detailed investigation and study of the present situation, make assembly processflow chart; measure the operation time of each station by using a stopwatch timemeasurement method, find out the "bottleneck" station and develop improvement plan.Secondly implement6S management, to improve the working environment, eliminatethe waste of assembly line. Lastly process flow analysis, hands job analysis, actionfactor analysis was emphasized carried out on the "bottleneck" station, set standardwork time. Partial improvement on the assembly line by utilizing the method of leanimprovement, some results has been achieved, assembly line balancing rate increased.Putting forward the first kind of balanced question of this assembly line, traditionalindustrial engineering method cannot be further optimized to improve the situation, setup the first kind balancing0-1programming model of the cab assembly line, andprogramming to solve on the platform of Lingo11.0, to optimize on the whole. After theLingo software to solve the optimization beats its equilibrium for each station, assemblyline balancing rate significantly increased.In this paper, Wuzheng group farm vehicle cab assembly line were analyzed and improved by using lean improvement combined with linear programming method,improving the production efficiency, balance rate, significant results have been achieved,at the same time for other agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprises haveprovided the certain reference value.
