The stable operation of the nuclear power station is of great significance to the healthy andstable development of the nuclear power industry and people’s peaceful use of nuclearpower. Because the quality of the nuclear power equipment is of great significance to thestable operation of the nuclear operation, the quality management of production process ofthe nuclear power equipment becomes the key to successfully surviving the competitionamong the nuclear equipment manufacturing industry. The nuclear equipment manufacturingindustry is a technology-oriented, talent-oriented and capital intensive industry. In addition,the manufacturing cycle is very long, and the quality of outgoing products must beguaranteed100%qualified. Therefore, any quality problems in the production process willhave a bad influence on the production cost, the manufacturing period and the reputation ofthe enterprises. Therefore, the nuclear equipment manufacturing industry must supervise thewhole process of production and try to do better. Prevention of the problems becomes thepriority of the quality management of production process. In order to do the problemprevention better, we need to recognize, assess, control and prevent the quality managementrisk in every step of production process. The specific aim is to get rid of the uncertainty andreduce the risks. The overall aim is to establish a scientific, reasonable and effective qualitymanagement risk control system.Due to the characteristics of the nuclear power industry, it is of great necessity to apply therisk management into the quality control. Meanwhile, it is a new way to improve the wholequality control system. The production process of the nuclear power products has8stepsincluding product marketing, product design, technological preparation, materialspurchasing, production-manufacturing, quality supervision, delivery and the after-salesservice. The factors involved in the quality management risk are very complicated. In thisprocess, based on the function of the quality management, to recognize, assess, control andprevent the quality management risk is an efficient way to prevent quality problems of theproduction.This essay will focus on the quality forming process of the DH company which is one of thethree power groups in China and target at the quality control risk in the quality formingprocess of products. This essay firstly will introduce the relevant concepts and the basictheories of the quality control risk. Secondly, it will use the quality management functiontheories and the risk management process theories to analyze and determine the commonrisks. Thirdly, it will use the analytic hierarchy process to screen the risks and establish thequality control risk index system and then use the risk-matrix method to assess the risks andfind out the major risks and threats. In the end, from the perspective of quality managementfunction, this essay will put forward some ways and suggestions to control the risks.
