Nowadays,with the change of business requirements and the development of informationtechnology,logistics enterprises are investing more and more into IT. But what value has theinvestment of IT actually brought? How to evaluate its value objectively? As the performanceevaluation information system in our country is still in the initial stage, most of the logisticsenterprises just evaluate IT by the direct benefits, but lack a set of scientific and objectiveevaluation system. In this case, establishing a set of scientific performance evaluationinformation system according to a logistics company has vital significance for thedevelopment of logistics industry in our country.Therefore, this paper will study the current situation and weaknesses of the performanceevaluation information system in our country through literature research method first. Base ofthis, compare the advantages and the disadvantages of the evaluation models for theperformance of information system, choose the suitable performance model which is calledThe Balanced Scorecard Model, then combine the actual situations of the logistics industryenvironment, the strategic objectives of enterprises and the information planning objectivestogether to analyze the system features of evaluation models, and build up a set of generalevaluation system for the performance based on a logistics company from four aspectsincluding IT contribution value, internal customer satisfaction, IT internal process, and theinnovation and development in IT field. Then determine each weight of the indexes by usinganalytical hierarchy process, and combine fuzzy synthetic discrimination to evaluate generally.Lastly, take ZWGD Company as an example to do the empirical study.The main research results of this paper will be three parts. Firstly, build up a set of generalperformance evaluation information system based on a logistics company, determine eachweight of the indexes by using analytical hierarchy process exactly, and use fuzzy syntheticdiscrimination to determine the results scientifically and reasonably. Secondly, the empiricalstudy on the JX information system of ZWGD Company shows that the application methodwhich is used in this paper is practicable. Thirdly, analyze and describe the evaluation results,then put forward some suggestions for improvement. The results showed that this set ofsystem and method has very strong practicality and operability, and it can also provide somethoughts for other companies’ performance evaluation information system.
