The Influence Of Big Five Personality On Family Business Conflict Resolution Strategy

Some researching findings indicate that there are a lot of conflicts influencing organizational performance, interpersonal relationships and so on in the organization. Solving conflicts properly will have a positive impact, while improper conflict resolution will cause more problems. However, there are so many factors that affect conflict resolution strategies. In the20th century, foreign scholars began to research in effect of personality orientation to human behavior, and were sure that there is certain relationship between personality and conflict resolution. Based on these study, this paper focuses on relationship between personality and conflict resolutions strategies and compare the differences between family business and non-family business. The thesis indicated that Big Five personality did influence on conflict resolution strategy, differently in family business and non-family business.
