In modern human resource management, employee performance appraisal is a verysignificant content, and also it is helpful of company to master the employee’s work andto motivate employee better work. A good employee performance appraisal system isnot only beneficial to better manage employees, but also to arouse the enthusiasm ofstaff. The method of employee performance appraisal system has a direct effect on thefairness and justice of the assessment results. If the employee performance appraisalmethod used is not appropriate, it will lead to a problem assessment results, and theresults cannot reach the expected results and cannot provide the management basis forthe human resource management.On the basis of the employee performance appraisal system in CY company, thispaper will put forward an effective improvement suggestion by analysis and calculationfor the existing problems of the employee performance appraisal system in CY company,in order to make the assessment results more reasonable.Through collating the related materials of employee performance appraisal in CYcompany and analyzing the direct score method, this study has offered a proposal andsolution to the current existing problems. Firstly, the technique of factor analysis is usedto simplify a number of original assessment evaluation indicators. And then, the analytichierarchy process is applied to divide hierarchy for the new comprehensive evaluationindicators; and the relative importance of the evaluation criteria is obtained by thequestionnaire survey, and its weighted value is calculated. Finally, the scientificappraisal procedure is acquired for employee performance appraisal, which can ensurethe performance evaluation results of fairness and reasonableness. All of which have proposed the appropriate recommendations to optimize the existing employeeperformance appraisal system in CY company.
