The main content of this paper is the development direction of TJH Company.TJHCompany is the first professional company engaged in environmental services inChina, which is found by local government environmental protection department andlarge international environmental services group. The company has the dualadvantage of government support and advanced technology. Its also in a leadingposition in the field of environmental services. However, the company is facing manyproblems such as efficiency procrastination, the bureaucratic style of work, braindrain crisis, and lack of corporate culture and so on. In the external, the company isfacing some other issues such as inadequate market regulation mechanisms, changesin macroeconomic policy, trade barriers and so on. The environmental servicesenvironment is relatively stable and has less competition for now, but with the stateencourages social capital into the environmental protection industry, franchisingindustry has phased out. The company is facing an important issue that is how todevelop in order to adapt to changing environmental services market environment.The previous studies in environmental services focused on the following issues:Firstly, the influence of macropolicy for environmental services industry. Secondly,how to develop environmental services industry under the market mechanism. Thirdly,discuss on the environmental services technology. In these studies the specific issuesof environmental service industry in the enterprise development are rarely discussed.TJH Company is different from other environmental services companies. For example,general environmental services company is mainly engaged in environmentalconsulting services, technical support, etc, but they do not have qualification ordisposal factory themselves. Therefore, the analysis of this kind of enterprise tends tofocus on how to expand multifaceted business to reduce the loss mentioned above.For TJH Company, the analysis is just the opposite. TJH has the qualification anddisposal factory. It does not need to look for further development of the downstreamprocessors. Development is needed to carry out the upstream business, includingprocessing before consulting services, technical support, and environmentalassessment and so on. It is different from the traditional analysis of environmentalservices department in this paper. At first, the paper analyzed the internal and external situation of TJH Company inorder to find out problems. Secondly, the paper analyzed the full range of TJHCompany through the industry environment, macroµ environment, and thenfound out the key factors affecting the development of TJH. Finally, the paperintroduced strategic model and actual data, and made strategy formulation andstrategy evaluation through three aspects including the company’s market strategy,human resources, and enterprise culture.
