Abstract/Summary:
Zero Loss comparing with the work sampling method has been further developed.Work sampling method is more focused on performance monitoring; And Zero Lossis more focused on finding the reason of efficiency loss. So it’s an excellent andsimple production line improvement tool.Research will generate the machines and entire production lines detailed report.The information in the report is an objective, quantitative, problem-oriented, andgenerally cannot get by other methods. Thus, the data is implementation of prioritymeasures to improve the production line to improve the efficiency of a goodfoundation. These data also can be used as an input or other basis for an improvedmethod, such as Six Sigma, process simulation, experimental design and so on.The main purpose of Zero Loss is to identify and quantify all of the observed lossof efficiency of production line, and based on this to take appropriate measures forimprovement. In particular,"other losses time" is very important, because there haveusually within a production line up to10-15%loss of efficiency, but most of the timeis not clearly known to cause these "other lost time" reasons.Zero loss it a concept that to analyze which have stable efficient production line,and in accordance with the "Other lost time" loss of efficiency in the classification ofresearch priorities. Problems production line must be connected to the machine by aconveyor line production line operation.The choice of the production line, Zero loss do not exist limitations. However,significant loss of efficiency if the primary, and is larger than "other losses Time" Ifthe supply, for a long time, frequent failure or the attitude and/or skills, then theresult can be very obvious and may not be worth the time spent and resources. Mostsuitable for zero loss of efficiency of the production line is relatively high and stabledevelopment of stable production line efficiency.
