Lean production serves as an advanced production organization model andmanagement philosophy to effectively instruct the modern manufacturing enterprisesin undertaking reform ceaselessly and make the enterprises full of competitivenessthrough lowering manufacturing costs and maximizing the profits of enterprises.Especially the management ideas of continuously eliminating waste, maximallypursuing perfection and unremittingly sustaining change, which is advocated by leanproduction, has become a magic weapon for investors and managers of manufacturingindustry both at home and abroad in improving manufacturing site and managementsystem.Lean production aiming mainly at reducing consumption of resources andproduction costs for enterprises to the most degree thinks that there are various wastesexisting in all the process of production, and the enterprises must analyze and removeany process adding no value and wipe off waste with the customer-oriented principle.The thesis basing on the theory of lean production and comprehensively using the5Sand TPM improvement, visual management and analysis of line balance and othertechnical methods related to lean production found some problems in enterprises atpresent by analyzing and put forward a solution on the problems according to theactual situation of production and operation, which is to implement reforms from theaspects of improving field management, advancing utilization rate of equipments,optimizing technological process, promoting working performance and adjusting linelayout and the rest, thus eliminating all the parts creating no value to reduce costs asmuch as possible in the process of production by cutting down the waste in funding,human resources and natural resources. Meanwhile, combining with eight years ofpractical working experiences, the author of the thesis expounded how to fullymobilize the enthusiasm of production personnel at all levels on site through theimprovement of productivity assessing, performance examining and regulationsinstitutionalizing, to push the entire personnel forward to carry out reforms of costsdecreasing and benefits increasing and to promote the application of the idea of leanproduction in the field management, thus more effectively improving productivity.
