Research On The Current Situation Of China Secretary Professional Qualification

Since secretary accreditation has been implemented in China in the year1998，secretary has increased its popularity with improved overall quality. During16yearsfrom its implementation，professional qualification of secretary approval system haswitnessed continuous development and improvement，which not only fulfills thesocial demands for profession of secretary personnel，but also provides skilled talentsfor the society. However，the current secretary professional qualification approvalstill needs some improvement because of incomplete approval standard; inadequateexamination contents，unreliability and low quality of the examinations. Thus，basedon certain analyze and research of problems，the composition is proposing to transferthe identification of ownership， authorizing the association of professionalsecretaries，and uniting secretary business offices，relying on vocational colleges anduniversities，emphasis on industry participation，the role of industry-universitycooperation,to legislate and advertise “secretary law” to strengthen institutionalassurance and publicity of the certification，to let the association making influence inthe project of enacting general career standard that prior to people’s capability，whichmatches the professional teaching of secretaries，then scale the secretary system andset primary secretary，lastly，to examine the test requirement critically，improving thetest database，reforming the way and content of qualification that concentrate more onstenography，and eventually set up regular evaluation officers and built a system ofthe supervision.
