With the development of knowledge governance in various fields, informalknowledge governance mechanism has been gradually emphasized by many expertsand scholars, which plays a very critical role in project-based organization. But atpresent, the research and studying of informal knowledge governance mechanism inproject-based organization are vague and insufficient. Main purpose of this paper is toexplore the informal factors influencing knowledge governance in project-basedorganizations, and then establish the informal knowledge governance mechanism,providing the reference and enlightenment for the knowledge governance in projectorganization.In this thesis, based on the literature and the temporary character of projectorganization, we refined the informal factors affecting knowledge governance, usingthe structural equation model and multiple regression method to explore therelationship between "network" factor,"atmosphere" factor and knowledge activity,and verify adjusting function of "cognitive of member ", and then build theoreticalmodel of informal knowledge governance mechanism in project organization. Usesocial network analysis and in-depth interviews to do further research and analysisabout influencing factors, through the social network analysis, the whole network,individual network is studied, through in-depth interviews, the incentive effect andconstraint effect of team atmosphere is understood, which are contributed to theperfect informal knowledge governance mechanism.The results of this study show that by combining characteristics of projectorganization and the research of informal knowledge governance mechanism, toextract the "network" factor and "environment" factors, analysis their impact onknowledge governance of project organization, at the same time to verify theadjusting effect of the "common cognitive", providing the theoretical understandingfor the informal knowledge governance in project organization, further research aboutsocial network analysis and in-depth interviews for informal knowledge governanceprovides the practical beneficial suggestion to the project organization.
