The relationship between industrial structure and economic development has beena hot topic in economics. The two problem interact and promote each other. Theoptimization of industrial structure promote the rapid development of economy, inreturn, economic development can promote the evolution of industrial structureconstantly optimized.Since China’s reform and opening up, economy has developed rapidly and hasachieved remarkable results. The adjustment and optimization of industrial structurehas played a more and more important role in the process of the whole economicdevelopment. Meanwhile, it is not hard to see that a lot of problems have emerged inthis process. One of the most important and difficult problems is the adjustment ofindustrial structure. Thispaper analyzes the current situation of industrial structure and economic developmentof The Tianjin Binhai New Area and the main factors of restricting economicdevelopment in the industrial structure by using the empirical analysis andquantitative analysis.
