Optimization Design Of Warehouse Buffer For T Company

T Automotive Logistics Co., Ltd.,as a subsidiary company of Shaanxi AutomobileGroup，it’s always catch its great attention to how to improve its operational efficiencythrough the optimization of internal processes or layout to meet the growing logisticsdemand and reduce logistics costs.This thesis is based on the observation on the buffer of the warehouse of T and foundthe situation of its existing routes cross-serious, low storage efficiency. After the analysis ofits existing process procedure, I used the method of line balancing and ECRS to optimizethe storage process and came up with two sets of schemes, one for the near future and theother the long-term, both of which have the higher balance rate and efficiency. Afteranalyzing the status of the buffer layout, I used of the method named SLP system layoutoptimization method to optimize its existing layout and came up with two different layoutscheme. The final conclusion of which one was the best choice was draw by comparing thethree schemes with each other through the method of weighting factor.
