Six Sigma is a set of scientific tools and management methods which uses theDMAIC or DFSS in process design and process improvement. The Six SigmaManagement can improve customer satisfaction as well as reduce operating costs andcycle. It is a management mode of enhancing the profitability of the enterprisethrough improving the operation quality of the core process. It is also the businessstrategy that the enterprises get the competitive advantages and sustainabledevelopment in the new economic environment. Six Sigma management can beintegrated with lean production, quality management system, excellent performancemode and the supply chain management and many other management theory andmethod.Six Sigma management is consistent with the concept of quality management inaerospace enterprises in the way of step by step to achieve the ultimate goal of zerodefect. Aerospace manufacturing enterprises need to fully absorb the internationaladvanced the concept of quality management to establish the process managementmodel and the growth environment suitable for Six Sigma Six Sigma management, toestablish a management mode of long-term sustainable development and difficult toreplicate for competitors by perfect combination the core concepts of Six Sigmamanagement with the quality concept of Chinese aerospace manufacturing industry.This paper introduces the history of Six Sigma management development,characteristics and the implementation process, discusses the relationship between theSix Sigma management and ISO9000quality system, and concludes the necessity ofimporting and implementing Six Sigma management in domestic aerospacemanufacturing enterprises. This paper analyzes in detailed the example that Lcompany introduces and implements Six Sigma management process, andsummarizes this project and provides suggestions for aerospace manufacturingenterprises to implement Six Sigma Management. Due to the characteristics of Lcompany, the results in this paper has certain reference and reference value forChinese military manufacturing enterprise to implementat Six Sigma management.
