The Rigional Difference Of Commercial Circulation In The Yangtze Economic Zone And The Influencing Factors

In 2014, the development of Yangtze Economic Zone was put forward as the national strategy by Chinese government. This strategy specifies that the development of Yangtze Economic Zone rely on the “Golden Watercourse”, moreover, the Yangtze Economic Zone will be built to a coordinated developed zone which connects the East, Central and West China. To achieve this goal, the cooperation between different areas within Yangtze Economic Zone should be strengthened to fully stimulate the connected effect and to narrow down the economic gap. Commercial Circulation is one of the most important parts of the third industry, it plays a crucial role in economy developing, employment increasing, living standard improving and regional gap minimizing. Therefore, conducting a systematic research on the difference of Commercial Circulation within Yangtze Economic Zone has both theoretical and realistic significance in narrowing down the regional economy gap, optimizing and upgrading the industry structure, as well obtaining a sustainable, healthy and coordinating economy environment within this area. Based on the above facts, the research is conducted mainly from the following aspects:First of all, from the aspects of scale, structure, facilities and efficiency of commercial circulation in Yangtze Economic Zone between 2004 and 2013, we can make a conclusion that there are obvious regional differences within this area.Secondly, by using the method of principal component analysis and panel clustering method to test the internal differences of the commercial circulation in the Yangtze Economic Zone, on one hand, it is possible to compare the difference of regional commercial circulation by calculating the principal component scores and the comprehensive evaluation score. On the other hand, we can compare the difference of regional commercial circulation by using result of panel cluster. The above analysis brings the conclusion of internal difference of commercial circulation in the Yangtze Economic Zone.Thirdly, analyzing the factors that cause the difference of commercial circulation in the Yangtze Economic Zone. Building an panel data model with the comprehensive evaluation score as be explained variable and having an empirical testing on the impact of per capita GDP, fixed assets rate, per capita fiscal expenditure, labor productivity level, and the level of informatization, we can conclude that except for the level of informatization, other variables are the influencing factors of internal difference in the Yangtze Economic Zone.Finally, on the basis of the above analysis results of the internal differences in the development of commercial circulation, the paper proposes mechanism of coordinated development about commercial circulation from three aspects: the national strategy, the regions(the Yangtze Economic Zone) and the provinces, and gives the related advices for coordinated development.The innovation of this paper is to fill the research blank of the development of commercial circulation in the Yangtze Economic Zone, and to propose relative mechanism and advices about how to narrow the gap in the Yangtze Economic Zone.
