The Study On Current Situation, Problems And Developments Of Farmer Specialized Cooperatives In Fangzi District

Ever since the Chinese economic reform, especially after the entry to WTO, the markets of agricultural products in china gradually approach to global markets. However, small famer business models,which are based on single family, couldn’t further meet the requirements of global economy. With the going of operation systems’ reform and agriculture industrialization’s development, the Farmer Specialized Cooperatives appeared naturally. Appearance of cooperatives effectively strengthens communications between farmers and market and also brings more benefits to farmers. Under the environment of new market, construction of Farmer Specialized Cooperatives is not only very necessary for our country to develop modernized agriculture and construct new socialistic rural, but also is a very important way for promoting international competitiveness.After reading many references, we used Fangzi district in WeiFang City of ShanDong province as a study object to describe achievements, existing problems in Farmer Specialized Cooperatives in Fangzi district. After that we proposed practical advices suitable for the development. This article is composed of five sections.The first section aims to summary developments of Farmer Specialized Cooperatives at home and abroad, including the formation of Farmer Specialized Cooperatives in foreign countries and the historical background for the formation of cooperatives in our country. The second section describes basic theories of Farmer Specialized Cooperatives, including the basic concepts, developmental characters, and developmental trends and so on. The third section of this article focuses on current developments of Farmer Specialized Cooperatives in Fangzi district. In this section, we discussed history, background, and current situations of Cooperatives in Fangzi and then concluded five development patterns in Fangzi. We further discussed the existing strengths, problems during developing and corresponding solutions to the five patterns respectively. The forth section focuses on the main problems during the development of Farmer Specialized Cooperatives in Fangzi and discussed relevant reasons. In the fifth section, we proposed the inspirations from Farmer Specialized Cooperatives in Fangzi district after exploring developments of foreign Farmer cooperatives.Fangzi district should further concentrate on standardization construction and focus on improving operating efficiency and market competitiveness. Besides, Fangzi district should also emphasize guidance service. The last section of the article supplies some suggestions for pushing Farmer Specialized Cooperatives of Fangzi district ahead according to current situations. The fifth section does with intensifying education guidance and promoting selfimprovement, implementing constructing platforms and intensifying information service, strengthening work specifications and completing operating mechanism, intensifying organization leadership and forming pushing strength, highlighting local features and chasing developing fast.
