Research On Developing Specialized Farmer Co-operatives As Main Body Of Agricultural Product Circulation Patterns

There exists some problems in China's current agricultural products circulation,such as small scale,decentralized management,low additional value of agricultural products,long circulation channel,high circulation cost.Through the transaction cost analysis of foreign mature circulation pattern of agricultural products and the current circulation mode of various agricultural products in China,this thesis points out that the specialized farmer cooperatives can effectively reduce circulation cost and enhance circulation efficiency.The current development of specialized farmer cooperatives is necessary and feasible,which helps to improve farmers' market position,agricultural products processing level and standardization of market order.Jiangsu province is one of the pioneers who has established the specialized farmer cooperatives.Therefore,the survey data and case study of specialized farmer cooperatives in Jiangsu province have certain representative and will help us have a better understanding on the development of cooperatives.But there still exists many problems in the process of development of specialized cooperatives.Effective policy suggestions cannot be put forward unless those key problems are found out.This thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is introduction.The second part introduces circulation theories and the main thoughts in modern times.The excellent experience in developed countries and its enlightenment to China will be revealed through analysis of agricultural product circulation pattern in developed countries.In addition,through the simple introduction of China's current agricultural product circulation mode and the comparison of various transaction costs,it points out the necessity of rural specialized cooperative organizations.The third part elaborates the necessity of farmer specialized co-operatives and its feasibility,as well as the main problems of farmer specialized co-operatives.The thesis will analyze the current situation of main agricultural product circulation pattern of Jiangsu province based on data in recent years,and then give an in-depth analysis of the successful experience of the farmer specialized co-operatives.The fourth part puts forward relevant policy suggestions.
