Study On The Ancient Towns In South Of Yangziriver Tourism And Landscape Experience From The Multi-sensory Perspective

The paper study on the ancient town tourism and landscape experience from the perspective of multi-sensory through literature analysis, content analysis, questionnaire survey, observation etc. The main object of study is tourist, also including the residents in Wuzhen. The main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1) Foundation theory and concept study includes:ancient town, perception, experience, semiotics, etc. what’s more, the paper also have a literature review on the multisensory experience,it is found that the study on the ancient town experience from the perspective of multisensory is little.(2) Author has a field investigation on Wuzhen and chooses Dongzha and Xizha as the study case. The author also has an investigation on Wuzhen from the perspective of nature and human culture. It is found that the elements of experience are rich.(3) As the results, firstly, having an analysis on the activities and multi-sensory experience, multi-sensory signs about tourist and residents. Considering the importance of camera to the visual experience, the paper also have an analysis on the behavior of taking photos.(4) Then, a multi-sensory landscape experience model has been constructed.It shows that visual experience has the most important effects on overall experience,followed by tasting,hearing,smelling and touching.(5)Finally, a further analysis about visual and tasting experience has been conducted.
