Research Of The Landscape Constitution And Tourism Exploitation Of Ancient Villages And Towns In South Shaanxi

In recent years, tourism has become one of the industries with the strongest development tendency and the biggest scale in the global economy. According to the National Travel agency statistics, the gross income in the whole year of 2006 will achieve more than 800 billion Yuan. And, the tourism has also become one of Chinese economy development prop industries. However, Shaanxi, as one of the provinces which the tourism develops very well, the unsuitable tourism patterns and products constitution restrict its development, particularly in south Shaanxi which is developing relatively late. The south Shaanxi rich natural tourist resources have been fully exploited, while the humanities tourist resources, taking the ancient villages and towns as representatives, are continuously neglected by the research field and the planners, but these humanities tourist resources are favoring gradually for the tourist. At present, the domestic tourist market appears the divergence phenomenon from the famed scenery, the cultural relic historical site to the rural tourism, the eco-tourism and leisure tourism, so the ancient villages and towns tourism satisfying these three kinds of tendency will become the tourism new point of growth soon. The ancient villages and towns in the south Shaanxi should and will have the ability to obtain the new life. But the few existing research results involving in this field, makes the resources not clear, the plan not in order and other phenomena, facing many questions and contradictions.This article is based on part of research results of the Shaanxi Province social sciences fund project plan topic which is managed by Associate Professor Zhao Zhenbin "Shaanxi Province Characteristics Ancient Villages and Towns Tourist Resources Condition And Development Countermeasure Research", utilizing the research techniques of documents reading, open country investigation and case analysis.The first part of exposition sets forth the topic background, the goal and the significance of the research, summarizes the domestic and foreign present research situation on ancient villages and towns tourism, and introduces the present situation of the researched zone and basic concepts involved in this article. The second part, according to the achievement of 2003-2005 year national natural fund project "Shaanxi Province Tourist Resources General Survey", analyzes the characteristics of the south Shaanxi tourist resources of ancient villages and towns, obtaining the type, quantity, and the rank three aspects.The third part reforms the tourist resources of the south Shaanxi ancient villages and small towns from the viewpoint of the landscape, and gives the characteristics of the ecology, the state of matter, the spirit, and the literature: In the ecology, imitating the nature, the nature and the human gathering to one, making use of favorable conditions and avoiding unfavorable conditions; On the state of matter, acting as circumstances permit, according to the law of nature, the actual and the false promoting mutually; In the spirit, the north and south blending, the types enriching, activity; In the literature, condition inside stories deep, tactful exquisite, enlightening.Based on the analysis result above, the fourth part gives patterns and suggestions for the south Shaanxi ancient villages and towns tourism development: 1. sustainable protection development pattern; 2. dislocation and coordination development; 3. multiple; multi-dimension item-design strategy; 4. the development premise which unifies government leaderships and the local resident participant; 5. image recommendation system acting as circumstances permit.The fifth part, educing from the preceding research foundation, selects the old town of Shangyuanguan in Hanzhong as the case to conduct the real diagnosis research, analyzing the four aspects of the ecology, the state of matter, the spirit, and the literatures. then proposing the corresponding plan.This article attempts to conduct the research on the ancient villages and towns tourism from a new angle of view, namely the landscape constitution theory, and performs the conformity of the rich and the complex tourist resources of the ancient villages and towns, then forms the ancient villages and towns landscape system which relates mutually; finally under this instruction, forms a set of tourism development pattern. Another innovation spot is its research scope - - south Shaanxi. The tourism development tendency in this region is good in recent years, but the tourism researches, tourism plans are relatively backward, especially under the policy which takes the nature tourism product primarily, making the humanities tourism development seriously lag, and finally causes the tourist resources into the destruction. The author hopes the studies through this article on the south Shaanxi tourism development will propose the recent development and promote this region tourism to develop harmoniously.
