Study On The Servicing Pricing Strategies In The Highway Freight Information Platform

In recent years, under the background of information technology widely spread, a large number of logistics information trading platform enterprises pop up, which integrated social resources to improve logistics freight efficiency in the field of highway freight. These enterprises not only promoted efficiency of logistics but also reform and innovate the operating model, accelerating the development of freight industry. But at present freight information exchange platform construction in China is still in the initial stage, many users have questions about the services provided by the platform provided, including whether the information transaction process is convenient or not, the transaction process is safe or not, the member verified system is reliable or not and the price is transparent or not. In addition, the current domestic pricing system about highway freight information platform need to be improved, and lacking of mature platform pricing standard and system.Firstly, this paper study the operation mode of typical freight information platform, classify the freight information platform starting from the two dimensions, choose five indexes that can describe the freight information platform operating mode, compared a few types of freight information platform. Then by studying the typical fixed freight information platform operation mode, through introducing the service function of the platform and honesty member system, we figures out that match time and integrity mechanism is vital. Considering collecting membership registration fee in one side and transaction fees charged in the other side, we build the biggest profit function freight information exchange pricing model of linear programming. Through the Matlab2012a platform we do the numerical simulation analysis, analyze how the number of transactions, the honesty member system and market price the effects platform pricing strategy are. Finally through the Transfer Logistics Platform case analysis, we prove the validity of this model.According to the research we do, we figure out that with the increasing of platform trading volumes, platform’s main profits transfer from the initial membership registration fee to information transaction fees, member of the initial registration fee is no longer the main source of profits. The platform should establish a reliable credibility mechanism to ensure the safety of transactions in the development of the platform, make a corresponding system regulation in the process of trading freight information, which can make the process more standardized and transparent. In addition, the model in this paper is based on the cargo weight in the freight information, the transportation distance and the transaction price factors, and we also consider the match time and the effects of honesty machine. But how we consider the full freight information content and other factors about effects of the pricing need to be constantly improving in this paper.
