An Analysis Of Tangshan’s Industrial Policies Under The Background Of The Integration Of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region

At present, China is strongly promoting the synergetic development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, the integration plan of B-T-H will be introduced soon. Therefore, the research on urban industrial policy at this situation is highly focused by governmental agencies, experts and scholars. Based on this background, this article analyzes the current situation of B-T-H integration and the strategy of industry-coordinated development; according to the current situation, it also analyzes the pros and cons of B-T-H integration to their industry to pinpoints the their position, determine the future direction of industrial policy and put forward relevant policy suggestions.Tangshan, a city with heavy industry, has a strong industrial foundation. However, for the reasons as the inappropriate structure of economy, the confused orientation of industrial development, the overmuch of unadvanced productivity and the lack of high-end technical talents, Tangshan’s economic development slows down. Under the background of B-T-H integration, this article penetrates through the industrial division and cooperation, studies the policies and measures Tangshan should carry out to overcome the industry that transferred from Beijing and Tianjin. Meanwhile, the experience of the Tokyo Metropolitan Area will help to promote industrial upgrading and optimization of Tangshan, and with the advantages in location and resource, this article studies the industry orientation of this city.Firstly, this article describes the research background and significance of the problem, analyses the domestic and foreign literature, then provides an overview of related theory of regional integration and industry. Secondly, it explains the current situation of the development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and industry collaboration strategy. Thirdly, it further expounds the problems existing in the adjustment of Tangshan industrial structure. Fourthly, it analyzes the opportunities and challenges that Tangshan is facing with. In the end, base on this background, this article puts forward certain industrial policy suggestions of Tangshan.
