Study On The Optimization Of Processes On Logistics In Distribution Center Of Books

With the gradual rise of people’s living standards and continuous improvement of the spiritual pursuit, it has become increasingly broad to the demand for more and more books, and so does the development on industry of book publication. The rapid development of the publishing industry is inseparable from the system of efficient and systematic distribution on logistics. It is relatively low to level of logistics on serving for publishing industry currently, and logistics is becoming a bottleneck to hinder the development of the publishing industry. On the other hand, logistics on distribution center of books has been the weak link. Therefore, it is of great significance to study on the optimization of processes on logistics in distribution center of books.Firstly, the paper analyzes problems existed in activities on logistics of book industry and lists the factors of bottlenecks influenced on its development, which leads to the practical significance on the paper.Secondly, it summarizes the characteristics of logistics about books and distribution center of books, then highlights the processes on logistics in distribution center of books.On this basis, it builds models based on Petri net about processes on logistics in distribution center of books.Moreover, it simulates the built models by ExSpect. During this process, it chooses the cycle time about processes on distribution as parameters of simulation. Then the paper analyses the results of simulation, uses the theory of process optimization which are merging processes, canceling processes, simplifying processes, rearranging processes to establish new models of processes and to simulate again, then, the results by simulating after optimization are obtained. New efficiency of distribution on processes is greatly improved.The focus is simulating the built models by ExSpect. The core is optimizing processes by merging processes, canceling processes, simplifying processes and rearranging processes. Then re-establishing new models and getting optimized solutions.
