Most of the existing railway logistics centers were upgraded from the railway freight station by upgraded their hardware, so as the software, their business processes needed to be improved as well. This article researched on the railway logistics centers’basic information and the business processes by investigation. These business processes was optimized by petri net model, then proposed an operable business processes to improve the management of the railway logistics centers.This paper summarized the infonmation of railway logistics center’s evolution, and the theory of business process reengineering and optimization algorithms. Introduced the construction background of the railway logistics center.Through researched and collected the related business processes’data, proposed that these business process reorganization should focused on reasonable using the existing resources, to form a more optimized and more operational business processes.This paper analyzed the railway logistics centers’exists business processes, then these business processes were abstractd and modeled by petri net. Then the genetic algorithm were used to pursue the optimization result by coding the model.The first chapter summarized the background, significance of this study and its domestic and international study situation, then introduced the content, structure of this paper. The second chapter comprehensively reviewed railway logistics centers’business processe and summarized the needs and guiding ideas of these process optimization. The third chapter introduced business-oriented Petri net models, comparative analyzed the various models and selected the appropriate model for these process optimization. Then these business processes were described by the petri net model. Chapter IV applicated the Genetic Algorithm to encode the Petri net model, introduced the general coding and specially coding. Chapter V brought in a numerical example to show the optimization method in a particular railway logistics center’s business processes. Chapter VI optimized the business process of railway logistics center, and then described the optimization points and the expected results. Chapter VII analysed the characteristics of various models in railway logistics business processes optimization, then proposed an idea of the dynamic process management in railway logistics center business processes, and described the dynamic management by combined workers and processes.This article analyzed the business processes flow’s characteristics of the railway logistics center, and then optimized the business processes petri-net model by Genetic Algorithm, and proposed a flexible process coordination methods.
