Since the reform and opening up, the family business as China’s vibrant private enterprise, plays an important role in the economic development of the market. The early family enterprise stood firmly in the heavily competitive market when it was in its infancy owing to its own advantages in the ownership structure, management and other aspects. But with the family business continues to expand the scale, its disadvantage is gradually becoming prominent. In the face of increasingly complex market competition, many family enterprises are facing transformation. The way to overcome the obstacles and deal with the risks of new challenges, new opportunities and the way to bear the transformation problem are inevitable and also an important problem for each family enterprise to face and to cope with.This paper summarizes three types of transition of family business by analyzing the meaning, types, development status and the transition of family business by learning from the successful transformation in the Ford Motor Co, USA Gome and FOTILE group, China,. The paper analyzes three transformation patterns and summarizes its advantages and disadvantages from the aspects of the ownership structure, management and inheritage of the family businessThe paper sets the B company as the research object, by studying the company’s establishment and development, status quo and stock ownership and management structure, and points out its problems in production management, marketing, financial management, human resource management, strategic management, corporate culture, management and leadership style in the process of the management and makes an in-depth analysis. The thought of transformation has been proposed by comparing the differences in governance structure between the family businesses and typern enterprises and the assessment of the B equipment limited company; A specific programmme has been put forward by establishing the core concept of the structure of property rights,, sustainable development and the construction of Typern Corporation governance system. According to the development stage of B comlany, the starting point for the transformation is the premise, the key factors to ensure the success of the transformation, the major measures and the basic approach to accomplish the transformation are proposed. Great efforts are made to provide theoretical supports, and to guarantee the realization of the strategic objectives of the company, so as to complete the transformation of internal revolution to promote family heir enterprises to typern enterprises.
