Research On The Intergenerational Transition And Technology Innovation Of Chongqing's Family Business

Family business as a organizational form with the dual nature of family and business,has a very long history of development.Since the reform and opening up,family business has developed rapidly,and made a great contribution to promote economic growth,employment and other aspects.Family firm is a force which can not be ignored to support Chinese economic development.With the entrepreneurs 'retirement time of first generation gradually approaching,the issue of heritage has become family business' s real problem which need to solve imminently.How to effectively transfer the power and wealth to the next generation,to get rid of the strange phenomenon---"Great men's sons seldom do well",to inherit effectively,have become important issue which academics and business managers should face.As a constant source of social and economic development,technological innovation has become a key issue in the development of family enterprises.However,Chongqing private family enterprises in the level of independent innovation capability is low,innovation consciousness and cultivation of innovation culture has yet to be strengthened.Therefore,the inheritance and innovation has become the key to the sustainable development of Chongqing family business and private economy.According to this problem,this article will start from the related research of family business intergenerational inheritance and technological innovation,combing with the inheritance theory about domestic and foreign family business,using the research data of Chongqing family business,to analyze the current situation and basic feature of Chongqing family business' s intergenerational inheritance.From different dimension,the author analyzes the relationship between the intergenerationalinheritance and technological innovation of Chongqing family business,and draws the following conclusions: First,if the inheritance object is the boss' s son or daughter,it will have significant negative influence to innovated input and output.Secondly,if the inheritance content is the succession of shares,it will have a significant positive impact on the innovation Investment and output.At last,ifthe inheritance is a radical model,itwill have a significant negative impact on the innovation investment.Then,according to the conclusion of empirical analysis,combing with the experience of family business in the United States,Japan and Zhejiang province,this paper puts forward constructive opinions and countermeasures for the family business of Chongqing.This paper mainly includes the following contributions on theory and practice:First,it reveals the status and basic characteristics of the intergenerational inheritance of Chongqing family enterprises,and discloses the influence mechanism of the intergenerational transmission of family business on technological innovation.Second,it promotes the research of intergenerational inheritance and innovation theory of family business,and provides the theoretical basis for the research of intergenerational inheritance and technological innovation of family business.At last,in the practical sense,according to corporate research and related literature summary,it can provide theoretical basis for the heritage methods and models in Chongqing family business,and provide scientific decision-making basis and strategic measures for government departments to improve the external governance environment,to promote family business intergenerational heritage and technology Innovation.This is also of great practical significance for promoting the sustainable development of private economy in Chongqing.
