Semi-conductor manufacturing has enormous impact on people’s life in every way. The supply chain of semi-conductor industry is more complicated than traditional manufacturing industry due to its high-tech background. Company A is a world famous semi-conductor manufacturing equipment supplier. However, the supply chain management is not equally efficient which results in much potential risk. This paper is targeting to study the risk lying in its spare parts supply by means of supply chain risk management, in order to fix its current problem.The main theory used in this paper is supply chain risk management, with the employment of Voting and FEC, to solve the problem of Company A. It starts with a summary of the study result of supply chain management and risk management in and out of the country at the time being, then leads to the methodology of supply chain risk management. Secondly, the current situation and challenges is thoroughly analyzed based on the features of semi-conductor supply chain, followed by the risk identification and risk evaluation of the spare parts supply in A. At last, risk control measures are brought up for A according to the characteristics of semi-conductor manufacturing.Supply chain risk is inevitable, yet it can be controlled and minimized with propitiate treatment.
