In recent years, Chinese enterprises had developed rapidly, but most were growing fast, short life, and had a lot of management problems in the development process. With the fast development of Internet technology, enterprises are facing a more complicated environment. Faced with these problems, management practitioners and management experts have acknowledged that enterprises need to change in order to survive and develop. How to promote organizational change has also become the hot issues that business and theorists concern. The exploration on how to promote organizational change effectively is significance to organizational change theory and business practice.Organizational change is affected by employee behavior even more direct. Employee behavior emerging in the daily social interaction, is influenced by the relationship. Especially the Chinese enterprises that emphasize the interpersonal relationship, are more concerned about the impact of relationship on the employee behavior. The able people in the center of interpersonal relationship network play an important role in the organizational change. So how do the able people’s behavior promote organizational change in Chinese enterprise in the relation society?We used the case study method to explore the process of the able people’s behavior that promoting organizational change through interpersonal relationship. Using interview and fieldwork methods to collect data, we tracked a private enterprise in Shandong nearly 12 months. We used grounded theory approach to analyze the data:First, coding the data by grounded theory method, we recognized the type of the able people and their behavior, the category of the relationship, the three aspects of organizational change, and refined these connotations and performance; Then, analyzing the real interactive scenarios of the enterprise, we studied the inner connection between the behavior of the able people and organizational change through interpersonal relationship.Through the case studies we got the initial findings:First of all, in the specific context of organizational change, the able people can be divided into three types:skilled, power, social, and show corresponding behavior; Secondly, organizational change mainly involved the three main aspects:employee’s awareness of change, resource adjustment, maintain interpersonal relation. The able people showed the behavior promoting organizational change through friendship relation and transaction relation primarily in these three areas; The last, the combined effect of the able people’s behavior could promote organizational change effectively. Therefore, enterprises should pay attention to the able people, and identify and reinforce the behavior of the able people in the specific situations by establishing a reasonable mechanism, which could give full play to the role of the able people to promote the organizational change effectively.
