With the constant deepening of China's reform and opening-up, more and more foreign-funded companies entered our country, its employment system of 'People-First' makes direct influence on the reform of recruitment and employment systems in our country. In the practice of enterprise management, people in our country realized the importance of building the management philosophy of 'People-First', and the situation of employment relation(hereinafter referred to as ER), will affect the economic efficiency in enterprises. While, how to make good and harmonious employment relation management (hereinafter referred to as ERM) to contribute to the enterprise's strategic targets?In response to the above question, this article first made detailed introduction of the external and internal environment and factors that affect ERM, introduced the major ideas about ERM and its development in foreign countries, as well as the development of understanding of ERM in China. Then, this article analyzed and discussed the current situation of ERM in China, bringing out some tactics for Chinese enterprises to better carry out ERM, such as, establishing the People-First ERM model, constructing enterprise culture beneficial for ERM, setting up special commissioner for ERM, and so on.Finally, taking UT company for instance, this article demonstrated the significance of ERM for enterprises, pointed out the deficiencies of ERM practice in UT company, and also produced some tactics to advance them, including the implement of KPI assessment, the employee conflict management, kindly dealing with those employee who quit from the company.
