Research On The Problems And Suggestions To The Construction Of Smart Nanjing

As a new city form in the age of Big Data, Smart City is a development mode which is effective to deal with various social problems generated during the rapid expansion of urbanization, as well as a significant path to promote regional economic development, to implement new urbanization construction, to maintain the sustained and healthy development of urban economy and to realize the great China dream. Nowadays, Smart City has already become a trend in China. Therefore, in order to promote the construction of a smart city, we need to figure out what Smart City is, what features a really smart city beholds and the ways which we can seek to make cities truly smart.This paper starts from the basic theoretical study of Smart City, systemically expounding and summarizing its concept, connotation, features and framework. Then, taking Smart Nanjing as the research object, the paper describes the construction planning, implementation preconditions and the status quo of Smart Nanjing construction. It also analyzes the existing problems and deficiencies in Smart Nanjing construction, for example, the connotation of Smart City has not been exactly grasped, the government positioning is not accurate and the support mechanism is far from perfect etc. And by comparing and analyzing the typical construction cases of some smart cities home and abroad, this paper has concluded some successful experiences of building Smart City. In the meantime, combined with the reality of Smart Nanjing construction, the paper has put forward some corresponding countermeasures on the construction of Smart Nanjing from five perspectives, such as constructing intelligent service system, basing on urban development potentials, implementing step by step, making flexible of the project operation mode and improving the supportive measures, in order to better promote Smart Nanjing construction.
